    Amazing machine!

    Wow! This thing is a beast and has performed extremely well. I was unsure of what machine I wanted/needed and read so many different reviews for leather walking foot machines and the Consew 206RB5 kept on coming up with so many positive reviews and now I know why - It's a GREAT machine for the money. It's one of the cheaper, almost entry-level machines but it is solid and built like a tank, yet sews leather very well. I am impressed because it has helped me to elevate my hobby to a entirely new level. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

    Quality and dependable.

    This is the second one of these machines we have owned and the first one if the reason we bought the second one. The quality is fantastic, it works flawlessly, and so seldom gives us an issue it's not worth mentioning. The instructions for assembling the table could have been better (like ANY), but that's okay, we figured it out. I would not hesitate to recommend this brand/ machine to anyone looking for a quality industrial machine that will last a life time.

    Get it!

    I find that Industrial sewing machines are just so useful. You can struggle with a sewing machine that is to light for the job or get an industrial and do it easily. I had a consew 225 for 25 years. So I just replaced the head. Having reverse makes the job easier when you are locking the stitch on a truck seat (rather than turning the whole thing 180 degrees every time you lock the stitch) I just use an industrial sewing machine occasionally and for that the consew is perfect. I slowed it down so I can sew accurately. Very happy with this purchase.

    Great belt!

    I was forced to order a belt for this Consew 226 I bought from a mobile leather repair dude in Nashville TN. He said the belt was newly replaced, but the machine was binding when I unpacked it. Upon further examination, I saw the belt was rubbing around the reverse shaft, and was installed wrong. It was also the wrong one. He denied any responsibility. So I ordered this belt which is perfect! The reverse shaft has to be removed to change this, but it's really easy. Now this Consew runs like it is supposed to thanks to this nice Gates belt from Alberoni. I am a very happy customer.

    Consew 206RB-5 Sewing Machine

    Machine is great, everything I was looking for in an industrial type machine. Have had no problems what so ever with this machine so far. Any size stiches you may need, they are at the touch of your hands. Only thing is, there are no pre-drilled holes in table, no instructions as to where things need to be placed. Just the pictures of the table being assembled. But, you can do it. Love this machine.
