Young Maya has been cursed by a mysterious woman in black, but players can help rescue her by using the "diary of faces" and the 3DS' AR features to explore the mansion, unlock video clips, and battle spirits that appear to float around the real world.     Worth buying used

    The use of the AR 3D camera is exactly what it should be. I can’t see it having a huge replay value, but it was definitely worth buying used and I look forward to playing through it once and passing it on to someone else to enjoy. If the needed book happens to be missing, Nintendo has a printable file to replace it. Or you can download it directly to a tablet, turn the screen brightness down as low as you can but so the camera still reads the pages and play it in the dark! Adds to the creepiness factor.

    The only problem with this game is you can't just buy the game only, you do need the book because it interacts with the camera in order to play the game. Great game for all fatal frame fans like myself. Creepy and awesome! Highly recommended.
