    Screws too tight!

    Screws too tight! Okay, problem number 1 these are assembled and then the bolts are welded on to the plate. Then the brackets are painted making the nuts way too tight! So I used the proper size tap prior to installing them and the threads were damaged. So I then had to cut off the bolts and then I had to drill a hole in the back of the reaming bolt and then I had to install 2 new grade 8 bolts and wire feed welded then to the back. On the other side I used a wire grinder to clean off all the paint from the threads. Please check the threads prior to welding them on! Problem number 2 they do NOT come with any placement directions so If you are NOT careful it is very possible to install them in the wrong location! I went to ebay and looked up a new floor pan for a bucket seat car and had ...
