Great product and easy enough install!
Great little product! While wrenching on the Lexus (2008 RX 350 so 10+ year old part) I accidentally snapped the upper hose connector on the radiator. Oh noes! On most cars, it's part of the upper radiator itself (upper and lower, sandwiching the inner core) and would be a more extreme undertaking. But Toyota engineers apparently thought this through and made the upper portion a whole lot easier to fix! Small screw driver to remove the plastic snap ring from the bottom, and then slowly remove the neck. Be sure you remove the inner o-ring and inner piece of plastic! Do not try to re-use them, the new one (on eBay) will already have one inserted! If you do try, you will NOT be able to get the new neck onto the radiator. :) A little bit of water / fluid will make it slid on and ... Great little product! Again, hand press, no need for tools or anything major. Finally connect the plastic snap ring (that you used a screw driver to remove) making sure it fits ONE WAY. Reconnect the hoses, they're not massive pressure hoses so no need for screw on hose clamps, the clamp types that you use with a simple wrench will work if you misplaced yours! You'll be down about 1/2 to 1 cup of fluid, distilled water or tap if you must. Burp the radiator hose and take your time, about 15 minutes, to let the fluid settle.
