    Fun gift

    My son saw this robot at his friends house and immediately knew he wanted one for his birthday. He turned 7 and got his wish. He needed some help putting it together but I was impressed at how much he could actually do on his own. He has fun giving the robot commands.

    unbelievable Robotic toy

    My 9 year old son really wanted this as his #1 gift for Christmas, so we gave it to him lastly after all his other gifts. He was elated and much to our surprise he put it together mostly by himself. It really has motivated him to learn how mechanical and programmable gadgets work. He calls it his new best friend, and it really is. This is the neatest thing I could have bought him. I usually don't do reviews and never rave about anything. BUT THIS IS THE EXCEPTION. Best present ever for our son.

    Fun,fun,fun

    The directions are challenging since they're only pictures but with a little bit of time you can figure them out. I just finished the build and I am anxious to see how it performs. I would definitely recommend this, but it's not something that a child could build alone.

    Great product!

    My son loves this robot! He and his dad had a great time assembling it together! It took the 2 of them 4 hours. The only negative thing is that the batteries drained in one day when he first got it. With the reduction in the price of KS model, it would have been better to get it. I know have to shell out $30 for batteries and charger. But the product itself is awesome. We all love it! It came in a very timely manner as well!

    Great for kids

    It is a great kit for kids, but it IS limited - you can only really build one or two things with it. it may be tedious for younger kids. BUT - you CAN do so much with it - check out the twitter feed for volt_the_robot -That robot was built using meccanoid guts!
