Item was as shown but item was not PIC-KIT3. Actually an AVR-ISP-MK2 (model number is sort of visible in one of the pics, between the cables)... wondered why it has so many sockets - thought it was really new model of their PIC-KIT3. But this will work for me, maybe better than PIC-KIT3. Thanks again.
