    Rugged, tilt feature works well, as advertised.

    This is a heavy package. On arrival noted some carton damage and a couple of hardware pieces lost during transit, but the unit was fine. Replacement hardware available at the hardware store. I would have ordered with gage but did not see one offered. With a little research I found that the gage kit can be ordered directly from CMC for 3 bills. Instructions are adequate but not exceptional. I needed to attach a Merc 115 clamp-on transom mount. The instructions describe a clamp kit but not very clearly. I choose to adapt it myself. Had some fit problems and then interference with the left side clamp screw hitting the hydraulic ram housing. I was able to modify the left clamp to get at least 50 or 60 degrees of tilt which is satisfactory but it made for a long day. The right side is ok ...

    Product seems a little slow.. I believe the actuator could use some upgrades. I wouldn't recommend putting this jack plate on your boat.. keep factory

    Tilt Trim Made Easy

    Product did exactly what I needed it to to without having to get up out of the drivers seat. I can beach my boat without having to worry about the prop or hanging off the back of the boat to manually lift the motor out of the water. Wiring and controls made it a quick and simple hookup.

    i could not find a replacement for my yamaha 40 so i bought this. good , price, fast delivery and bolted right up with no additional drilling. i did have to add hole to console because i was not wanting to figure out boat wiring and with this all i had to do was mount the switch and connect to battery. don't get any easier so was able to do by myself and not pay someone to do it.

    CMC Tilt Trim

    This hydraulic tilt trim is exactly what it was advertised to be. It was new in the box and once installed it works well for raising and lowering a boat motor and Fine tuning the trim once on plane. It is a well built piece of equipment perfect for any outboard motor without a built in tilt trim system.
