I just replaced the engine with a short Block. The old engine had a breather/vent hose from the block to the carburator base leading to the air intake. This hose has what appears to be a check valve in the line.Cant find any information about this. Not sure if I lost any of the parts. There is a spring, but nothing else. Photos attached

I pumped the fuel bowl ten times, then pulled the cord. It started right up, no issues. An easy fix to bring it back to life. Better than trying to clean an rebuild the old carb. Only downside is that it did not come with a new gasket and o-ring. Fortunately I was able to reuse the old one.

It would be good to suggest the ordering of gaskets, as Kawasaki doesn't include these. Seller was very accomodating when I called to question these missing gaskets that needed to be ordered.
