great machine, better than any processor, easy to use
I love the flexibility of this little machine. I had two different full size food processors and both quit working after 1 or 2 uses. I still have the reg size saladshooter and the only reason I bought this one was because I lost my cheese grating blade. I am very pleased with this bigger model. It is easy to use and came with many different blades. I highly recommend this Presto SaladShooter Plus for everyone.I love the flexibility of this little machine. A little processor that does the job as well as the bigger expensive ones.
I bought two of these salad shooters. Mine stopped working after many years of use. I used it for salads,slaw,relish, as well as shredding my potatoes for fresh made hashbrowns. This machine cannot be beaten. This was the first salad shooter my daughter-in-law has used and she fell in love with the one I gave her, uses it 2 or 3 times a week. It's a very versatile, sturdy little processer that I would recommend to anyone. I'm very happy with mine.I bought two of these salad shooters. Mine stopped working after many years of use. Slices chips up in a jiffy
I had a hard time finding the right cone for shredding cabbage. Once I tried out each cone, it became easier to use. Trying different cones with different veggies and decide what works for you!

Yes this is versatile, but the biggest problem is that the food just stays in the cone because the cone does not rotate fast enough to force the food out. The other problem is with the on/off switch. It has a tendency to stick or become very hard to turn on or off. Had to disassemble and do some fine tuning on the switch in order to get it to work properly. Last, buying something used, I should have know that the cones would not be very sharp.
