Mailbox "Tank"
This mailbox is built like an army tank! After having our box vandalized, I determined to find the best. I believe this is it. It weighs around 40 lbs., but you only have to position the base plate, which is pretty light and easy to deal with. Once the base plate is secured to your post, the heavy mail box just glides onto the base plate and is secured with two screws. Those screws are only visible when the bottom locking door is open. The screws go into pre-threaded holes and then you close and lock the bottom door. Nobody can get to the screws and nobody can get into your mailbox but you. Only one disappointment
Great product, theft proof, well constructed, other than the mail notification flag, which is/was made of a low grade plastic...it was the first thing to go/stolen. I have now replaced the only inferior part of this product with a heavy duty aluminum flag.

This is a real tank of a mailbox. Heavy gauge steel and easy to install. If you already have your post in place, this can be installed in under 30 minutes.
