Take the rear wheels off.
Very easy to install on my new John Deere Zero-turn mower. I did however do as another reviewer noted and removed the rear tires, one at a time, to install the two main attaching brackets. Only took one look to see that it was going to be much easier to install.....much more room to get the job done. Who would have thought that adding a bumper with hitch would change the appearance a mower that much? Looks great!! Directions for installation, with hardware, were very easy to follow, done step by step. I had it installed in about 30 minutes, giving that I did remove each of the read wheels for the install.Very easy to install on my new John Deere Zero-turn mower. This bumper is made extremely well. Was easier and faster (at least for me) to install once I took off the rear tires. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for this. But once off I had more room to maneuver and get my hands back behind them to install the bolts back there. Looks awesome once installed. Ordered it because It had a tow hitch and i couldn’t find one. The extra protection of s a plus though.This bumper is made extremely well.
