    Learning French is easy with French for Dummies

    I've been using various tools and apps to learn French on my own. After visiting the bookstore and looking through countless Learn how to speak French books, I found French for Dummies to be the refreshing. The book makes the lessons clear to understand and fun.

    Wonderful EXCEPT...

    This is a wonderful book for learning French. The text is easy to understand, the examples are spot-on, and the accompanying CD makes it possible to hear the examples spoken by a native speaker. Unfortunately, the copy I received was missing the CD -- an important part of the instruction. Without the CD, the value of the book is severely diminished.

    The language disk was cracked in half

    This would have been a 5star rating.... but the cd was completely cracked thru on one side. Book is excellent. And in good condition, but the cd is kinda essential.
