They are not going to bend, not even in rocky soil. They are plenty long. The tab on top will keep a rain fly loop from sliding off - good stuff. Only potential concern - there are two welds on each tab, attaching it to the nail. On two stakes the welds were not 'liquid' between the tab and nail on one of the two welds, suggesting a bad weld. Probably will not be an issue in the field.
