Lovely threads, a lot of different shades of blue and green, a slightly musty smell about them, but hopefully airing them out and that musty smell will disappear. Overall happy about the purchase as it was a very good price on vintage quality thread. A bit disappointed about so many greens blues and yellows. And very little other colours. But overall usable sewing thread if that musty, mouldy smell goes away.

it does go away people have been very happy with them .They have been stored away since the 80s but for machine sewing a good thread.I try give as good a selection as possible

Lots of colours and shades, tending to greens, yellow/golds/browns, light blues and a few purples. Have used some colours already and no issues. There is a slight warehouse smell to them but that is more the labels I think and has worn off. Great value for money and the environment, very pleased with my purchase. I don't think you'd regret buying these :)

A good useful mix of vintage reels of thread, mostly unused. Intrigued to see that they were all made in GB and a number have Woolworths price stickers so I'm wondering if Dewhurst Star threads were made especially for Woolies- cant see anything about that with a google search so I'll never know!
