I had some trouble opening it at first, as it's very tight right out of the box.. But after adjusting the pivot screw to loosen it some, it was easier to open. It seems to be a serviceable knife and has no plastic in it that I can see. It looks like it might take some breaking in to get it loosened up. The dimensions were accurate and no attempt was made to exaggerate.
