    Lethal Weapon

    While investigating Amanda Hunsacker's death, the two uncover a heroin-smuggling operation run by Vietnam War special forces troops, known as 'Shadow Company' (see Air America). The scheme is masterminded by a ruthless retired General, Peter McAllister (Mitchell Ryan) - the former commander of Shadow Company - and his chief enforcer, Mr. Joshua (Gary Busey). Murtaugh and Riggs - also Vietnam War veterans - discover that Michael Hunsacker was laundering the profits through his bank. McAllister had ordered the murder of his daughter to keep his laundryman under control. As Riggs and Murtaugh confront Michael Hunsacker, Mr. Joshua makes a surprise appearance in a helicopter and shoots him in the back with a sniper rifle. This one is definitely a winner.     Leathal Weapon

    Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are a winning combination!!!!!This series of four movies, is one of the best ever. The action is great!! The comedy is great!! The storylines are Awesome!! I already own these movies on VHS but I am switching my favorites to DVD since VHS tapes wear out fast with repeated use. I do not want to lose these movies since I watch them so often. There is nothing to dislike about Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. I wish there were more than four of these movies. I just don't know what else to say. I love them.

    It started it all.

    This film is the very definition of an “Action Film”. It was released in 1985 and features the first paring of Mel Gipson and Danny Glover. It has both drama and a bit of comedy. It is both a guys film and a gals film. It spawned 3 sequels. It precedes Die Hard by a couple years and would become the inspiration for many subsequent action films. No DVD collection would be complete without the Lethal Weapon series.

    great movie, great actions.

    i bought the movie becuase i wanted the original dvd to go along with the other 3 movies not the direct's cut which is all you can find in stores. the movie and entire series are great. full of action, suspense and some humor as well. mel gibson does a great job in these movies. true and raw emotion is this one especially
