      Great little Mac

      This is my first experience in MacOS for at least 10 years. I wanted to get back in, but couldn’t justify the price of a new Mac. Got this Mac mini, upgraded to Catalina, and it works great. I have it plugged into my TV. I loved my Apple TV, but I found I wanted more functionality. Mac mini was the best thing.

      Mac Mini's are a great value

      This is my second Mac Mini, and I've owned many Macs, so buying this was an easy call. The machine was delivered in its original packaging, but it had been configured with new startup software. The Mac Mini is a great value. The most recent versions are very high performance, but also very expensive machines. Buying a used one is a great way to go.

      Cheapest Mac still pretty good

      I’m definitely not a power user by any means and to be honest this was a replacement for an old acer pc, I’ve owned a Mac mini 2011 with the hdmi problem and I’ve owned a 2009 Mac book so I’m familiar with Apple computers this one has no problems at all extremely easy to set up. Again not a power user mainly for streaming purposes and using iTunes , I’ve had no problems I guess the main gripe if any is they soldered the ram down so you’re stuck with what ever you originally purchased unless you’re an inexperienced engineer. But I would recommend!

      Value is relative

      Value is relative....item is base model 2014 mini with low memory (not upgradable) and HDD instead of SDD. I purchased to learn about Apple OS as I'm experienced in Windows. I added a internal NVMe and a clean install of Monterey. This will work for me, but recommend you look for highest processor and memory configuration and drive type preinstalled on these types of unit.

      Works Fine for intended usage.

      Works fine in singular use setting, one or two browsers at a time, slows down when too many tasks are opened simultaneously. Fine for basic usage, watching videos, sending emails, viewing pictures. It's an internet machine, that's all. Not an editing machine. Though could probably be used for basic editing.
