    Wow!!!

    I have a 1tb HDD that didn't have much on it since I use it as a DJ rig, but the boot time was still slow, in my opinion. Fortunately I had an empty HDD slot that was connected to my board in the laptop. I popped this bad boy in, and initialized it in disc management, restarted the computer, and made sure it was detected in the bios, loaded the migration software that came with it, shut down all running apps, and cloned it over to this SSD with no issues, restarted again, went to bios, and set it as the main boot drive, and then the "Wow". This boy is fast. I tested all of my programs to make sure they opened correctly, and no problems there. I will use the 1tb drive for my music, and video files. I will say that I am already good with computers, and know what I'm doing in the bios, and ...

    Super reliable and super fast!!!

    The 10 year warranty is awesome. I no longer feel like I need the data RAID after using this drive. I took it out. The Samsung Magician software that comes with the unit is super easy to use. It lets me clone my old 1TB hard drive unto this 512GB SSD drive with no issue. Overall the entire cloning process took about an hour for my 150GB of OS and data. I am most happy Windows 10 boot used to take 2-3 minutes on the old hard drive now takes less than 15 seconds. Google Chrome launch now takes 2 seconds. I LOVE IT!!!

    Worth the upgrade

    My computer startup time was starting to slow down a bit and I was also concerned about the HDD wear factor. I already had an external USB 500 GB SSD for my personal files and decided to replace my internal HDD with the Samsung 850 Pro 512GB SSD. WOW what a difference. Everything runs so very much faster especially my CAD program. I would recommend anyone who needs or wants to upgrade their system to consider a SSD.

    Excellent.

    Samsung 850 Pro's - I've several of these and also 850 EVO & 840 Pro. You know they all seem about the same, wouldn't want to be without any of them. Prices have come down to affordable almost - I just couldn't deal with the slowness of a spinning hard drive for very long now - Samsung SSD's have spoiled me. I used a brand new faster Dell laptop recently ... omg so slow booting and no snappy open/close of programs, its painful almost to use a spinning hard drive for me now.

    Samsung is simply the best and fastest SSD drive on the market. This is my second purchase. I upgraded my newer laptop a few days ago. I removed the 840 Pro and installed the 850 Pro.
