    Where have You been all my life?

    I have owned multiple windows computers, Sony, HP, And currently have an Apple MacBook Pro. I needed something that I could keep outside my house, and never have to bring inside (COVID-19). So I wanted an inexpensive, fast and practical laptop. This Acer google chrome book its amazing, lighting fast. I use it for checking email, editing documents offline, some YouTube, and have no complaints. Battery life it’s great, I used it for about 3 day, and still had a 1/3 of battery left. Acer, Where have You been all my life?

    So 1st and foremost, you must be willing to go all in with Google when you buy a Chromebook. Failure to do so will leave you hopelessly stranded. No Amazon, no Windows, no Mac and some no Android (like this one.) But once you go all in on Google you'll be glad you did! Unlike some other reviewers have stated that you can't print, cap lock, tab, download Youtube Mp3 & Mp4, work on Google Docs/Sheets (Word/Excel) offline are just not true. Yes there is a bit of a learning curve for these things but computer competent users can ask Google how to do these things and will be out of the dark in no time! i.e. Ask Google 'How do I turn on Caps on Chromebook?' and it will tell you.     Awesome buy for what most of us use a laptop for over 90% of the time.

    When CNet's Cheapskate wrote about this, I had to check it out. I was looking for a light, portable laptop for my new home-based business to replace my large laptop. Since this would be my first Chromebook, I bought it with some trepidation, but based on the overwhelming positive reviews, I felt very confident in getting this CB3-111, especially for that price! It's everything everyone said it would be: fast, light, quiet, powerful enough to do 90%+ of normal computer tasks, etc. It didn't get my full 5-star rating only because the Chromebook's first screen display stated that the OS was either missing or destroyed. After going on their help site to download a recovery disk onto my 4GB SD card, everything worked like a charm after I uploaded onto the Chromebook. Even with that, I ordered ...

    Excellent budget friendly device

    Battery life is tremendous. This is comparison to my previous tablet Microsoft Surface Pro 3 which would last approximately 4 hours before having to plug it in. This chromebook seems to be able to last anywhere from 8-12 hours without having to look for the charger ;) Very lightweight. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a mobile & lightweight device. Great for typing documents, writing videos, using spreadsheets, shopping , etc. Slightly slower processing with websites with a lot of content but that's expected. Purchased this device for $100 and well worth the price at least for what i'm utilizing it for now. Which is google docs, browsing the internet, and occasional work that's all handled seamlessly through the cloud.

    This Chomebook Is Awesome

    I use this for writing, email, school. This things is way better than my last Dell laptop works faster and everything. I run about 7 tabs at once. I will have school up, Facebook, my blog, email, Instagram and google documents while listening to music on you tube. It is super fast and works all smoothly. I bought it used and have had it for about 5 months still works excellent. I like that it has google documents and spread sheets and everything already on there. My teacher accepts papers written on it. The software was like 200 dollars I got this used for 80.00! At this point I have already wrote 100 papers all still on here. Probably 1,000 pictures so far. They keyboard is set up ok. I checked out the Acer Chromebook R11 and while I like the tablet/laptop setup the keyboard for typing ...
