My Galaxie acts like I gave it complete tuneup.
I used this on a "67 Galaxie with 289 and 2bl carb. The provided gasket appeared too thick and the retainer ring was all wrong (holes didn't match mine) so I reused the originals. Also could not use the heater hose bracket. Otherwise, this has apparently solved my choke issues that I've been chasing (always trying to readjust) for years. The car starts faster and runs smoother. I'm, overall, quite pleased. (Instructions would have been nice, but I've been doing stuff for almost 6 decades so it was easy to figure out.I used this on a "67 Galaxie with 289 and 2bl carb.
