The discs appear to be DVD-Rs though everything was of decent quality. The picture and sound is above VHS but not quite that of most DVDs. It's a great mini-series and someone should acquire the rights and make multiple movies. NETFLIX? The price was right, so I am happy with my purchase.

The picture cleared up shortly & there was only one other space for several seconds where was no sound toward the middle of the series. other than that, no other problems with the DVD. I would buy from themooviebarn again. 5 star rating all the way. Great series

The first disc of the second set was also defective, so I reached out again. They apologized for something that was out of their control, and refunded the full price in a very timely manner.
