Online reviews refer to Eagle as a children's book, and perhaps this is the case, but I enjoyed it very much, and I'm 57. I would say there is no overt sex, or profanity, and violence is not direct. Still I found the book exciting, it has a great plot, and I actually looked things up on Google Earth as I read. The author, Rosemary Sutcliff, wrote historical fiction. • Great value for the money.

All 3 books are a great buy and read. They are perfect for anyone in the family that reads. You will not be disappointed with the books.

  • Great story, well told

A good, compelling read, well written. I have now purchased the following two books in this loose trilogy.
