    Women fighting for respect and equality in the workplace in Modern Times.

    This story is based on the real events around the women who went to work in a male dominated iron mining business and fought for the respect and opportunities previously reserved for men only. It's not a pretty story and has numerous scenes that are hard to watch but are essential to telling the truth about what these women endured. The screenplay is good but occasionally has moments that could have used more depth and development. The cast are solid on all levels and well chosen to inhabit the characters. There are also commentary and interviews with some of the original women who lived the story. This is an excellent film for some historical perspective on equal employment as well as the "Me Too" movement.
