    Ridley Scott's offering Robin Hood is an amazing interpretation of the story and the one that seems most likely to be historically accurate absolutely love the movie entertaining throughout when I ordered it on eBay the price was right and the disc was in Great condition

    Ok for a new version but it shouldn't have been called Robin Hood

    not the old version. This had a lot of different ideas and far from the original story. Many fantastic war scenes. Too much noise and hard to follow characters.

    An interesting Robin Hood origin story with an honorable Robin & an independent Marion.

    Crowe & Blanchett have great chemistry & the “merry men” are good supporting characters. The story is a little too complex & drags when it focuses on King John—Helgeland should’ve kept the story more focused on Robin—but overall, it’s a good effort at a Robin Hood origin story.

    This is a great version of the age old story of Robin Hood. Love the history, 80% accurate. Russell Crowe is awesome, always using his eyes more than words. That white horse he rides, wow! Kate, a low key performance, which is within the times/women. Outfits, appropriate for the time, not over done. Don't miss this fabulous tale..Great!! The best remake:)

    I-'m soooo glad I bought this dvd ! I had seen this movie several times on TV and really enjoyed it so at a good price it was worth putting in my library of favorites. I got to see the "directors cut" this time and I was blown away !!!! How much better the film was. They had cut a few small scenes out that were vital to the plot. What were they thinking? Who cuts these movies after the director says that's it ? Definitely buy this DVD just to see the whole film the way it was intended. Ridley Scott, director, really knows his job and he succeeded in this one. It's as near to perfect as movies can get. Russell Crowe, his merry men, Cate Blanchett, William Hurt and the rest of the very strong cast all did their jobs in this very unique twist on a ancient tale.
