    carving book

    I put rating good, because this book is very good, but still, not excellent. I bought this book, because I am interesting in carving wood and I am practicing it as well. So, when I bit for this book, I saw that price is really appropriate for any kind books, so for this also. When I receive "How to carve wood" I was pretty suprised about content quality. I doesn't matter that it is used. Until you can read what is written there and see the pictures, you can use it. Inside of this book is information about carving tool sharpening, use and how to pick correct one from among. If you are a person more ecocentric, than anthropocentric I encourage you to get it and use it.

    Butz. the author, may be a good carver, but a poor instructor.

    Would no recommend this book to any would carver, topics are too basic. Fortunately I didn't pay 19.95 for a new copy of the book.
