Guinness World Records 2008
It doesn't have the quantity of items as in past versions, but it was for my 11 year old son and a couple of months later he still doesn't put it down. He's constantly reading it and loves the pictures accompanying all of the data. His goal is to find one the records and breaking it. I keep telling him to find something else besides putting a dozen snails on his face. Fun to look through for all. Cool cover art. Highly recommended, especial for kids. Guinness Glows!
It's true! This new 2008 Guinness does glow in the dark! This book not only includes the old world records like the oldest man or tallest woman or the longest beard, but all the new updated stuff we are all curious to know about like the man who eats two pounds of metal every day (ugh)....to the man with the most tattoos. But it doesn't stop there because it also has new sections on Forensic Science, Peculiar Pastimes and Epic Endeavors. Lots and lots of photos. This is a good reference book along with being not only educational but weird! Love this record book!It's true! This new 2008 Guinness does glow in the dark! I really didn't thing I'd buy this for I thought it would be in bad taste and a waste of money, but I thought why not I've heard so much abotu it. so I did and I came out to not be disappointed it all. The only thing is the bad parts that children should not try at home or even attempt them even if they look east, all kids will. They should have a spoecial books just for these. For I wouldn't want to see anyone hurt at all. A good example is JACKASS. Now I'll have to buy these for every member of the family at Xmas for they all have one of their own and a lot of times I've saw within in the family now is a lot more fighting over the book like I wasn't done yet, aren'y you done yet so I can look. All catch all pahases like that. So one should be made for adults and one for children. We can ... Guinness reveils some amazing information
My son had started collecting the hard cover books of Guiness' world records from many years past and we missed this one. So it was purchase as a gift to fill in his collection. He was please to see all of the awesome things Guiness is still colecting records on.

I love these books. They are very educational for my children also. I have every issue since 2000. My kids will get them out and show their friends to show off. By buying this year on ebay I saved over half off of the issue, great buy!
