    Not cheap but worth it

    You can buy a boom stand for about half what this one costs and have it fall apart after a few uses. This one is about the same weight as a cheap stands but far more sturdy. The single action height adjustment and the boom storing in the vertical tubes are nice design touches not found in cheaper stands.

    Best mic stand ever!

    I’ve owned mic stands throughout the years: proline, onstage, ultimate etc... all of em feel like junk compared to this one. Just seems built sturdier and the moving parts are just better designed. I can attach an iPad, pop filter and probably more and it won’t feel like it’ll tip over.
