I had a question about the pin. The Seller got back to me quickly not to be scared of breaking the unit by firmly pressing in the pin. Once in, the pin locks in place nicely and takes a bit of a tug on the wrist band to get it back out so it's not likely to come out on its own. I haven't had the opportunity to try it on something living yet and hopefully won't need to.
