    BACK OF BOOK SAYS: All her life, ashlyn darrow has been tormented by voices from the past. to end the nightmare, she has come to budapest seeking help from men rumored to have supernatural abilities not knowing she will be swept into the arms of maddox, their most dangerous member a man trapped in a hell of his own. This was SO MUCH BETTER then nymph kings, alyssa day's atlantis, and jean johnston's destiny ..... I really liked these books, actually #2 the darkest kiss was the BEST OF THE 3. AGAIN it's the group of men with powers, isolated from society........ the damsel in distress..... yada yada yada............... but it actually plays so much better in these 3 books then in the other ones i have read previously.

    Excellent Book for the Reading Carnasour

    Gena Showalter starts an amazingly romantic fantasy fiction series with this book, the Lords of the Underworld. This book concentrates on Maddox, one of the Warriors of Olympus cursed for killing Pandora and seizing Pandora's Box, each with a demon from within the box using their body's as a living host. These warriors avoid normal interaction with the outside world until Ashlyn, the other main character of this book, 'walks' into their existence. I won't ruin the story for those who have yet to read it. All I can say is, it's a great read worthy of anyone who enjoys a good Fantasy-Fiction Romance, Adventure, and a great book. Baught this myself to replace the copy someone at college never returned, can't just have a couple of the books in this series, it's all or nothing, and I prefer ...

    The Darkest Knight- Maddox's story

    A great starter to the terrific new series about Mythological warriors that were condemned with the demons that they unleashed when opening Pandora's Box. The Darkest Knight is the first book of the series. Maddox is the Keeper of Violence. He is condemned to die every night and awakens each morning knowing he would have to die again. Maddox lives with other immortal men that share similar curses. When Ashlyn Darrow comes in search of the strange men told about in local legends, hoping to get answers to her own strange ability, she is confronted by Maddox. As an attraction between the two develop, they both begin to realize that there is more at stake than their hearts. It is a quick page-turner with action, adventure, spit-spat arguments, and leaves you begging for more, more, more.

    An excellent read and author

    I love this book and the author. I've read many of her books. This series is by far on of my favorites. I would recommend it to anyone. The proceeds of this sale went to St. Jude's research hospital. I think it's wonderful to see someone like Gena Showalter use her talants to help others.
