I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the strings!! I played about a ton of different brands and gauges, The Dean Markley Blue Steel medium light strings are the only strings that give me the most bang for my buck. They hold up well and have killer tone without breaking the bank., you owe it to yourself to give Blue Steels a try.

I have been using Blue Steel strings for my bass for years now and they never fail to give me the clear sound and tone that I'm used to. The Git. strings have just a little more life than other brands I've used, but the bass strings seem to have a little more staying power and don't dull out as quickly. I'm recording an album right now and it's good to have a bunch of these on hand. Love the sweet tone, the lighter strings tend to fail quicker so I go for the Medium Light, the heavier ones seem to have a flatter bass tone.

I have been playing for 30+ years tried every single brand on the market, but these are far the best strings i have ever played. They hace some specific smoothnes under the fingers and they are very soft also, much nicer that Rotos, I could said they are similiar to DR low riders somehow but they are more consistent and they last longer.I play mostly classic rock and old funk and they work perfectly good for me.

Absolutely love these strings. I've been using blue steel's on my basses for 20yrs now. Nothing compares to the bright crisp sound. Load on the bass EQ and they are beefy as well.

I have always liked Blue Steel bass strings. It's to bad they're not made any more. It's good to know you can find them on ebay.
