    Entry-level price, pro quality

    I like the pendulum or enertia type controllers, which this one is. The time-ramp style are poor functioning and bordering on unsafe in some cases. My carhaulers brakes need attention so i can increase the sensitivity and chang it back for my dump. The boost feature that gets you to the top quicker, i believe, is great for a heavy max load. I would like the panic bar to go max regardless of setting but that might be unsafe also i.e. skidding trailer tires in an already panic situation. Set, test and check the limits and actual braking effect often. I hauled a well loaded construction type cargo trailer back and forth across the country for over 20 years and this is the only type of brake controller I have bought, this being the fifth one I've purchased. I own three right now.

    Tekonsha RF brake controller

    Easy to install with wireless connection. There was no need to drill a hole through the engine firewall for routing cables. It is heavy duty, built to last. The manual override is just a push button, on/off type so for more refined control, a slide switch type should have been used.

    So glad I bought this controller

    Great product - If you're looking for a brake controller - look no further. This is the one to get. I had this installed within 10 minutes. It took longer to decide where to mount it. The manual is spot on - just do what it says and you'll have zero issues. I pulled the loaded trailer 150 miles and with the simple adjustments. I barely knew it was behind me while stopping.

    Great brake control!

    I had this trailer brake control in my last truck. This is a great brake control! My only issue was the wiring schematics inside the box and the wiring schematics that came with the order were different. Choose one.
