    Great look, great sound, great value

    These pickups look and sound great. I'm certainly an amateur guitarist, but I replaced a pair of Epiphone Les Paul Special stock pickups with these, and they sound way better! And they love overdrive. Installation was easy, but I didn't do anything complicated like set them up for coil tapping. The tabs were slightly wider than my original pickups, so it took a little fussing to get them to fit into the routes, but I didn't have to re-route or anything. For me it was well worth the money!

    Excellent pickups

    Installed the G.M.Toasterbuckers in a Firefly 338. Style wise they fit perfectly but the sound they put out is what's amazing. Better than pickups that costs five times as much. . If you are looking to upgrade pickups in your guitar I would highly recommend checking these out.

    Loud and clear!

    I put these in a guitar build from kit that came with the black closed humbuckers. While I no experience to give comparison to more expensive pickups, these GM Toastmasters are much more clear than the stock pickups that came with kit. They have better midrange and less distortion, which means better sounding distortion when used with pedals or amps when distortion is wanted. They are loud and clear on clean channel with great sustain. The picture on the listing does show more a gold chrome and I was expecting a gold color but they are silver chrome and look great!

    Just what I was looking for!

    I have a PRS custom 24 SE and wasn’t happy with the stock pickup sound. They were sterile sounding. I finally decided to pull the plug on these alnico II toasterbuckers. Being cheap, I wasn’t sure if I was going to regret it. I did not! These were just what I was hoping for... clarity, definition, warmth and well balanced mids. I’m a tele player and play rhythm; when I split the coils on these, it definitely brings the sound into the tele wheelhouse! I love them!

    Great sound

    These pickups are excellent. Crisp cleans, thick mids for country picking, and warm rock tones like Brian May. My $300 Yamaha sounds like a PRS. They’re also great looking.
