About this product

Product Information

The new quilt is finished, and what a quilt it is! Here is a square from the proud owner's baby pajamas, and one from the shirt she wore on her second birthday. There is even a square of the same material from which her mother made her stuffed dog Sally. How can she possibly sleep when there is so much to look at, and remember, and dream about . . . ?

  • The Quilt by Ann Jonsa

My daughters are 18, 22, 24 and we searched all over for this book. They checked it out of the library in Minnesota when they were little. After we relocated to Kansas we even called the library to find it. I think they enjoyed the imagination of the little girl when she found herself in the setting of the patterns on her quilt- what child doesn't have a favorite quilt or blanket? The illustrations are beautiful and the story is simple and sweet. So this gave a new dimension to the priceless value of a hand made quilt .
