    Great survival resource!

    When I purchased this book, I had my doubts about it. Most survival books just go over sections with no great detail, but this one had a great review on Advanced Firecraft. It makes you to go and do hands on training! I would recommend this book and over books written by Dave Canterbury.

    Not as handy as SAS survivial guide.

    It's an okay book...has a lot of info I was not aware. However on the opposite side, not all the info is relatively useful. This book would appeal to someone who would really like to spend the next year or two out in the wild and not just a weekend trip.

    Every person should have these skills in their wilderness portfolio

    Advanced Bush Craft takes wilderness skills to a new level. It thoroughly explains the nuances of life in the woods where we work to "smooth it" and live with the environment. The chapters are easy to read and the diagrams easy to follow. These are skills that should be taught in schools and experienced by kids and adult on the weekend. I have gone through this book a few times and still find myself picking it up to refresh the skills I don't always use. I would give it 5 stars out of 5! Sno Dawg - Jeff
