  • Great retrospecitve! Includes great alt. takes too!

This is better than the greatest hits that came out a few years ago in my opinion. It has the first studio session they ever did, an early demo of 'You Don't Have to Cry' That's every bit as good as the finished track. Also the 8.50 minute jam of 'Almost Cut My Hair' that was edited down to the DeJa Vu track. The early demo of 'Guinevere' is better than the album version. It has achingly beautiful Bass playing by Jack Cassidy. There are two or three other out takes from the fist album and second albums. There's also many great original album takes remastered in perfect sound like you've never heard them before. Also solo stuff from all members. I wish there were some more of the better track from the 1977 CSN album (my personal fav)
