Specific Product for my Vehicle
This gear oil is the correct oil that GM recommends for the G80 locking differential in my Colorado pickup truck. Other brands may have additives that adversely affect the functionality of the G80 differential and it is risky to use them, although they may work okay. This is a synthetic oil, so it should last a long time. The cost of this oil is high, but most other synthetics are also high cost. Overall, I'm satisfied that this is one of the best gear oils for my truck and it should be trouble free. The quart container this gear oil is in is a squeeze type for easy transfer to the differential. I added a short clear PVC tubing to the nozzle that made the job easier and faster.
