    Introdcution to Studying Hallmarks of Orientalism

    I like that it introduces the concept of Orientalism to children. It can also be used in a college setting as a jumpstart to learning more about the Western assumptions placed on Asian cultures.

    The Story about Ping

    I read the book to my children and wanted to now give it to my one great grandchild. It was printed much earlier than l983 - l983 must be a reprint of the book but it was a great one.
