    Beginning Carvers Project and Skill Building

    The material is a little dated with only black and white pictures. Several projects are used to teach and give practice to beginning carvers using a selection of four basic tools,including sharpening. For a small price makes a good starting point to learn the basics with little invested.

    Basic Wood Carving Info.

    Older book, but has valuable info. on the basic techniques that are used on many different types of wood carving. Good photos, but would have liked more color photos. Recommend it for people starting to carve (like me) and need some of the basic information and techniques.
