Good value if it lasts.
The reason I bought it is I can't buy the parts to build one for $13. That said, I am a little dubious about some of the ratings. The terminals really don't look like they'll carry 40 Amps continuous. In fact, It was hard finding terminals for 10 AWG that will fit. The tiny heatsinks on the FETs may be adequate if the Rds is low enough for high efficiency. I can't say these won't really do the job as I have some more fab to do before I can put the trolling motor on the kayak. But as the motor only uses 30 Amps max, the derate may be enough. Thermal considerations are another concern, This may require open air mounting and I need an enclosure. But I think for the money it's worth a try.
