I Love it !!! Fits perfectly in my application. I rigged an adapter to the slotted shaft to drive my grinder/sander. The torque is great and I'm just using a small 12V DC battery to drive it through a rheostat. This beats an AC motor any day. For the future, I plan to connect it to a stepdown transformer and 12 volt output rectifier as a controller, but for now, the battery rheostat will be fine.

    Great little motor but lacking in some qualities.

    Initial testing with out any load the motor works great. The mounting holes are less than adequate, bolts fit loose and sloppy. I will need an adjustable bracket for tightening a chain and it's doubtful these will hold up under load. I will have to fabricate an adjustable bracket for mounting. I'm still in the process of completing my build so I can't verify how well it will perform under no step variable speed.
