Awesome book, I buy copies of it to give to people all of the time!
This is an awesome book. I recommend it for people first starting out in the occult or spirituality. A complaint I had read in some reviews on Amazon included the fact that the author doesn't cite references in the book, but people need to understand that the author is using esoteric sources, so all of the information supplied is supposed to be hard to find. Anyway, this book really helped me with understanding occult symbolism and certain allegories, and after I was done reading it I was more able to understand what other books in my occult collection were talking about. If only I had bought this book sooner... The author does mention people that did create written material, so I also recommend this book for that reason. If you believe in the notion of "mind before matter" then this book is the one for you!
