About this product

Product Information

Few entrepreneurs can claim to have actually changed the way we live, but Ray Kroc is one of them. His revolutions in food service automation, franchising, shared national training and advertising have earned him a place beside the men who founded not merely businesses but entire new industries. But even more interesting than Ray Kroc the business legend is Ray Kroc the man. Not your typical self-made tycoon, Kroc was 52 when he met the McDonald brothers and opened his first franchise. Now meet Ray Kroc, the man behind the business legend, in his own words. Irrepressible enthusiast, perceptive people-watcher, and born storyteller, he will fascinate and inspire you. You'll never forget Ray Kroc.

  • From paper cups to Big Macs - A Classic Success Story!

Few people know that Ray Kroc was 52 when he opened his first restaurant and within a decade he had completely revolutionized the quick service restaurant industry. It's a good thing he was an excellent story teller too. I recommend this book not only because it's a fascinating, well-told story but you also learn a bit of history along the way about one of the largest industries (today) with a $100+ billion market. Pick up a copy today - you won't regret it!

  • Review on Grinding It Out by Ray Kroc, Robert Anderson

The book was the life story of Ray Croc, how he evolved in to a great marketing personnels and how he developed the concept of fast food (McDonalds). It is a great read and helps to know how humble great people have been.
