    A VERY GOOD QUICK READ ON A PHASE OF JAPANESE HISTORY

    A lttle know phase of japanese history lost in time, then after release in English, Martin Scorsese made the movie... do both book and movie; you get a good picture of the true history though this novel (history and most people are real). Look at cover of book and you'll then get an idea what it's about, Catholicism trying to make a hold in Japan roughly 400 years ago.

    It took a bit to arrive, but it was worth waiting and the price was great!

    This book is really strong. That doesn't mean it's a bad one, for the contrary it shows how early Christians suffered for the Great cause of the Gospel. I've always admired those men and women who give their lives for something greater, and what can be more great than Christ. Great book!

    Endo's Silence

    Very satisfactory text. Excellent book. Was used in College On-line class. Of texts required for class, this was best one. Enjoyed it thoroughly
