    Lovely children's book

    This beautiful little book is short and it is in board book format, so it can be used by a very small child, but the message is for all ages. The puppets and their maker have a very similar relationship to that which we humans share with God. This story shows us that if we care more about what our maker thinks of us than what other people think of us, the "stickers" we get from them won't stick to us. We need to visit our maker often to be reminded how much he loves us. It's a lovely, timeless story that's sure to become a bedtime classic.

    You Are Special by Max Lucado

    I bought this book for my daughter for Christmas. I love this book so much, I got it for my older daughter a few years ago. It really helps to show us that we weren't created to please those around us, but God Himself. It also shows that we can go to God with ANYTHING and He will slowly reveal to us who we really are. The illustrations are amazingly vivid and lovable. From each character, to the background, it is evident that this book probably meant quite a bit to Sergio Martinez (the illustrator) as well. I plan on keeping a copy on my bookshelf for years to come, so I may share it with any children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or neighbors who may need to know how much they are truly loved by God, no matter what others may think.

    this book first came out when my son was a toddler. It turned into one of his favorites and is now in my hope chest waiting for the next generation. When asked if he would be willing to pass it down to our latest addition to the family he said no mom it has to be kept for my children some day but lets get the baby one too. So this was purchased for my new nephew. hope it turns out to be one of his favorite too.

    You are special by Max Lucado

    I went to hear Max Lucado speak at a conference and heard about this book. Every year under the tree we leave a present to each of our children from Jesus and talk about the ultimate gift of eternal life after they have opened their present. This year, our five year old will receive this book from Jesus because the book entitled, You Are Special, explains how you can keep people from trying to label you and scar you in life through animation. Great self esteem book for any child. I highly recommend this book!
