About this product

Product Information

A woman comes face-to-face with a serial killer who glorifies the art of death in this "ingenious"* thriller from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Penn Cage series. They are called "The Sleeping Women." A series of unsettling paintings in which the nude female subjects appear to be not asleep, but dead. Photojournalist Jordan Glass has another reason to find the paintings disturbing...The face on one of the nudes is her own--or perhaps the face of her twin sister, who disappeared and is still missing. At the urging of the FBI, Jordan becomes both hunter and hunted in a search for the anonymous artist--an obsessed killer who seems to know more about Jordan and her family than she is prepared to face...

  • A Thriller I Missed

I bought the book because I like Greg Isle's writing and I was overseas for a few years when Dead Sleep was published. When I looked for it recently, there were no new copies available and few used ones. The story, as all of his works, is a page-turning thriller that keeps you in suspense right up to the end. The protagonist is a woman photo-journalist and it's written in first person with a natural sounding voice. The plot is very complex but plausible and I enjoyed watching it unfold in one exciting scene after another. I especially liked the climax and the clever way the antagonist is exposed and dealt with.

  • Greg Iles is one hot mystery writer.

I can't say enough about Greg Iles. He is one hot mystery writer. I now have all of his books to date and have even read them over again. He writes thrillers that really thrill you. In his stories you never know what is going to happen next. He writes page turners that will keep you up at night until you get to the end. I can't wait until the next book comes out.

  • Deep Sleep

I have read several of Greg Iles books and was delighted to buy this particular book through e-bay. Disappointed? Not in the least. This book, by this author, lived up to its name and was a page turner for me.
