    Helpful book at any age!

I like this book because it is so helpful. I only wish I had read it when I was a young adult. Nevertheless it's helpful at any age to help you determine who are your friends and who are not. I am glad that the author took the experiences that he had and shared what he learned with us.

  • Body's Speak Louder Than Words!

This book was recommended to me by a friend. It was an easy read with great pictures to help illustrate the content. What I liked best about this book was Navarro's application of non-verbal body language. Faces are the LEAST reliable and I have used this many times in my job. It is well worth the read for anyone who works with the public, wants to get along better with a coworker/spouse or has a teenager! Very informative with a good bit of science to back his assessments!

  • Fabulous book. I highly recommend.

This is an outstanding book. I felt like it delivered on its promise of providing great tips to read people. The best thing, though, was it did not over-generalize the information. For example, most of the book is tips of body language to tell when a person is uncomfortable. It does not make the assumption that the person is being dishonest and that is why the person is being uncomfortable. To the contrary, it warns repeatedly against making such assumptions based on too little information. Instead, it suggests simply noting when a person shows discomfort and either asking more questions or paying attention to a particular question and trying to figure out what made the person feel uncomfortable with a particular point or question. I took an undergraduate course in nonverbal ...

  • Reading People

I've personally always had the ability to read people but this book taught me so much more. I'm presently writing a novel where the main character uses many of the things in this book to learn the people in a new community she has moved into. I found this book full of valuable information. Highly recommend it just to improve your own life in your day to day living and working.

  • Great read on how to read people

Navarro's book provides a very refreshing insight on how to read people. In a society where people communicate more and more via electronics, it is important to see the non verbal clues, and the book provides great content on how people can and do communicate so much with their bodies. Excellent read!
