      For "Structure-Oriented" Sponsees

      Some of the newer people in Recovery (AA) have told me that they are extremely structure-oriented and that following this book's outline helps them to feel more comfortable working the steps. One of my sponsees said to me that it "takes the mystery out of the work"; many newcomers are slightly fearful of that sense of hearing people talk about these steps and not having a clue as to what they are. This workbook is also perfect as a gift to one of those (of us) who don't get a sponsor right away; they have an opportunity to go through it and get an idea about what our 12-Steps are and how they work. Note that this is "Bible Based" and I haven't had anyone complain yet; however, some may object to that fact.

      Good book

      I decided to buy this book because a Christian counselor wanted me to commit to 14 sessions for $50.oo a session to help me with greif issues. I had worked the 12 steps years ago, figured I could buy the book for less than ten dollars and skip giving the counselor $700.00. She wouldn't let me buy the book from her so I figured I could get the book myself. It looks very good, the condition was good and I was glad to have it.
