    Helpful and easy for kids to understand

    This is a short book, but it packs a punch! I have 3 grandsons who have enjoyed this booked. All 3 have had issues with not wanting to poop on the potty and have all been past the 4 year old mark when they finally trained. I think this book may have influenced them in a positive way because I could remind them as I read it to them that it is something everyone does. It also includes how different animals poop different shapes, sizes and smells which was not only funny to them, but we also compared what animal their poop looked like the most. It helped to make the time they spent on the potty less stressful. They always asked to read this book and they would sit/try longer.     Used book, had a couple of tears, but for the price, it was fine. One of the best books for 2 to 5 year olds about using the bathroom, surveying the animal kingdom and family members. Funny and matter-of- fact. Was happy to receive it so quickly.

    Recommended for Preschoolers & Amusing for Adults

    This book was briefly shown in one scene in the movie "Dan In Real Life" starring Steve Carell (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, TV's The Office). Acting on my own curiosity, I recently checked out the book, "Everyone Poops" by Taro Gomi, at my local library and found out it was somewhat amusing and may be very useful for my preschooler whom is currently in her second month of potty training. The books cover was not what I expected to see after opening it and viewing the colorful illustrations contained within. This book shows several different types of fecal matter with a humorous outlook from the miniscule size of bug poop to the enormity of elephant poop. The book illustrates the difference in size, shape and color. The only thing missing is the smell.....scratch n' sniff ...

    What Every Child (and some adults) Needs to Know!

    This delightful and informative book was a real find for us - I only wish it had been around when I was a child! It teaches young children that they don't need to fear pooping; that it is something all animals do in some form or other. It also encourages potty training by helping to eradicate the fear of pooping - the illustrations depict the boy using his potty, just as the adults do. I have known children who had an irrational fear of pooping - thinking that they were losing an actual part of their body, or maybe the discomfort of the act was an issue. And of course most young children don't really understand how things function beyond their own point of view, whereas this book shows them that everyone does this, everyone needs to do this and it is normal! This is a must-have for parents ...

    Great book!

    This book was recommended to me by a friend to help me with potty training my little one. The book is really cute at explaining that “everyone poops” and it somehow made it easier for my child to poop in his potty and not his pull ups. I would recommend this book to any parent dealing with potty training issues.
