    For anyone who loves rocks.

    This is one of my all time favorite books by one of the most wonderful authors ever! I read it aloud when I teach geology. In my opinion, it is appropriate for all age levels and is charming in every way.

    Everybody should read this one....

    It's a book about finding a special rock to carry in your pocket. I bought it for my preschool class but it may be suited for children that are a little older. My children understood the concept but it was a little long for them. We were studying a unit on "ROCKS" at the time and followed this book up with a walk and found special rocks to carry in our pocket. Each child found a special rock that was all theirs just like in the book.
