Would NOT work with Beretta Compact 90 Series
After installation, the Beretta slide would not lock open. I sent the gun to Beretta (it was brand new) they took the WIlson Combat spring and rod out, replaced with OEM Beretta. Wilson Combat suggested I try without the shok-buff so I did some tests: Beretta 92FS Compact INOX Test results trying to lock slide: WC kit without shok-buff – does NOT work WC kit with shok-buff – does NOT work WC rod with Beretta spring DOES work Beretta OEM rod and OEM spring with shok-buff Does work Beretta rod will not fit inside WC spring, so could not test. Wilson Combat would NOT send me a replacement spring because I bought kit from eBay. NOTE: I also have a full sized Beretta and the proper kit from WC did work - but their compact kit does not in the compact frame.After installation, the Beretta slide would not lock open.
